Compatability Aluminium and Brass

I was able to pick up a few studs (look like they are made of brass) for my
exhaust manifold at the Nissan dealer .  I got to thinking (dangerous I know)
and was wondering if brass is compatible with the aluminum head?  I also just
found a place that has some steel ones so I could use those instead?  Any
comments would be appreciated.
