1600 used a six bolt crankshaft

2000 used a 12 bolt crankshaft.

You COULD bolt a 2000 flywheel to a 1600 crank...

If you are trying to lighten the flywheel, I've seen 2000 units
that were CNC machined to remove mass from the outside of the flywheel. 
Still something I would do for 'race only' applications. Datsun 
Competition sold aluminum (with steel insert for the clutch) flywheels 
years back. I remember seeing one with elangated flywheel bolt holes.
