On my LINKS page there are links to
three collector car insurance companies.
I personally chose Haggerty because
their insurance covers any driver with 5
or more years of driving experience. My
23 year old daughter enjoys my car
whenever she can without insurance
worries.
My insurance bill this year was
$107.00/Yr. for 300,000/100,000, $5,000
coverage and $0.00 deductible on both
Collision and Collateral. You do have
to keep your car in a locked garage, and
you must prove insurance on a daily
driver car.
If I remember correctly one of the other
companies covers not only the car, but
the replacement cost of a collector part
up to a certain value. I thought that
was pretty neat, but if my daughter ever
learned that I could have insured her
instead she would have killed me.
