I still remember one add in the back of
a 67 or 68 sports car mag that offered
the Aston Martin used in the James Bond
movie Goldfinger.  Everything except the
guns, which were there, worked as shown
in the movie (the rear axels were too
weak to actually cut up another cars
tires), and the selling price was
$13,500.

Yes, it does. I have that issue.

Going through the classified ads in the
back is always worth a good cry. How
about a 1956 Mercedes-Benz 300SL
Gullwing coupe for $4900? That's cheaper
than the Porsche RS-60 for $7500 from
Ludwig Heimrath (famous racer of the
era). Where the heck is that time
machine when I need it?
