Header Gaskets

Dearest List,

 

I recently bought a new header for my 260Z from MSA.  Included was a header
gasket.  

Their catalog says to never use a stock exhaust gasket with any header.  The
metal

reinforcement on the stock gasket will cause the header to leak.

 

Awhile back I bought a header for my 67.5 1600, which I've yet to install.
Is there a

header gasket for the 1600s?  Or will the stock gasket work OK?
