Take the car for a drive to thoroughly heat up the engine uniformly. Use the
rule of 9: adjust 1 when 8 is compressed etc.

I use a large socket and long 1/2" ratchet to spin the motor but remember to
remove it when you're finished or just push/pull the car in gear.

BTW, retorque the head too but before you start the engine. A little extra
work but worth it.
