Hello from Wisconsin.
First a great big public THANK YOU! to Ivan Velazquez from Waukesha for the
transmission. My mechanic says it looks great. It was a huge help to getting
my car back on the road, in shorter time. Thanks Ivan.
Second, I need to replace the exhaust manifold, and I am going to get a header
instead. Are the headers available an easy replacement? Are they all the
same, or are there ones to avoid? Will my starter work with a header? I'm
not sure which style my car originally has on it. It works well, but it has
been suggested to replace it anyway.
Third, What oil should I use in my "new" tranny? Can I use synthetic oils or
do I stick with traditional lubes?
The little blue car should be back on the road within the next month.
