Hi roadster fans,

How do roadster fans transport their cars? I'm trying to figure out the
best means of getting my car to Solvang. I want to pull it with my RV and I
have 3 options, tow dolly, car trailer, or tow bar. I originally wanted to tow
bar
it but found that the bumper brackets are actually thicker that the part of
the frame that it attaches to. I guess these bumpers were only made to be
ornaments more that anything else. Without having a specialty welding shop make
me
up a structually sound mounting bracket I'm left with the other 2 options, of
which the dolly looks to be so high in the front that my tailpipe or bumper
may scrape the road. Trailer queening it would be the safest I'm sure for the
car but I didn't want such a wide rig behind me. Has anyone had any experience
with the tow dolly? Does it in fact scrape?
Of course I would much rather drive it but my wife doesn't want to drive
the RV, and of course I'm not about to let her drive my car. I hope I didn't
open a can of worms with that last statement I made.
I would appreciate you all's coments on this. There's got to be some one
out there who's had this dilemma.

                     Thanks,
                                  Tom Prather 69/2.0 with makeover
