Looking through the Wix web site I
notice that the spin-on filter for the
2000 is not the same as shown for the
1600. For a 2000 they show part number
51361.
Unlike Fram and Purolator, Wix tells you
a little bit about the filter. They
indicate that there is an anti-drainback
valve inside of both spin-on filters,
which should eliminate the need for the
tube inside of the filter if I
understand it correctly.
