Kinda OT: List ettiquette

I'd like to welcome a new list member that recently signed on, and
offer some brake advice. I'd like to... BUT I CAN'T.

If you're posting to this list, yet you have a 'blocked' email address,
then you're not going to receive many replies to your queries. I for
one do not bother to fill out the 'please accept my email' forms. I'm
not about to register my address with some unknown third-party app.
