I had my tank boiled out at a radiator shop, then sealed it with POR tank
sealant..
To clean the fuel lines..I unbolted and wrestled them out...carefully so I
didn't bend or kink them.
Once the supply and return lines ('69 2000) were dismounted from the car I
ran some small chain as a weighted leader followed by twine. Once I had the
line
completely threaded with twine, I pulled it back and forth through the lines
to clean get the crud out.. after cleaning the lines and inspecting for
damage, they were suitable for re-use.
