dragged home another parts 2000 yesterday a guy traded me for a 500 mile
round trip transport of another roadster... always nice when you pull the
valve cover and it looks pretty clean inside and the teeth on the cam gear
have square edges on them and you can see the whole front end's been off the
engine :-) been off the road since '85. that's the roadster content- don't
know if anyone's into Metropolitans, but we went by a boneyard yesterday we
could see from the highway (think it was 422 in Pa) and spotted a bunch of
Nash Metropolitans!  town is named Limerick, boneyard called Limerick Car
something. they used to reject cars for inspection in Pa. if they had holes
in them you could stick a pencil thru (or so I was told many years ago...)
so maybe decent bodys if anyone's interested. I'll settle for the Hot Wheels
version of the Metro, have them in a couple colors, big ass engines sticking
out of the hoods :-)
