The older, big, chrome Sun lights are the most impressive. Kinda resembles a
huge Star Trek (original series) phaser. <g>

I'm not sure how much investment is involved with a timing light. A cheap
one can be found at almost any parts house for less than $20. Although
rarely used it is a good tool to have and looks cool hanging on the wall.
