This engine looks like a SR20DE(T)a very potent, light and Hi-tech engine.

This engine is the Nissan FJ20DE(T).
"Tough as" engine, just not the latest technology.

I have rebuilt both the FJ20 ans SR20 engines and in my opinion the FJ is by
far the toughest and better designed.
Parts for both types are still available ex Nissan.
The availability for the donor cars are very different in US to Oz, can't
help much there.
However I'm guessing the FJ would have to be imported from Japan or Oz since
it never made it to the US in an import vehicle.
