I used a Odyssey PC680 on my race car. Battery weighed less than 15
lbs, had lot's of cranking power for a high compression race engine,
and I ran a "total loss" system (no alternator). I could run two
20-25 minutes on-track sessions, and still have 70% battery capacity
at the end of the day, and this was with a MSD ignition system,
electric fan (for the paddock), and electric fuel pump. I'd run a
trickle charger on it over night at the track. That battery never
let me down.
