I want to discourage you from powder coating the oil pan, unless you completely block off all internal areas that are exposed to oil. I had it done, and the sandblasting media got trapped in the baffles. I cleaned the oil pan thoroughly after powder coating, but was unable to remove all of the sandblasting media material. Consequently, my recently rebuilt U-20 motor seized. You might want to try painting the outside of your oil pan instead. Gary |
