You might also need to open your heater tap to make sure that drains as well. I drained the coolant in my 1970 2000 Roadster tonight, by removing the hose from the bottom of the radiator. I thought the capacity of the cooling system was 9 quarts, but I only emptied about 5 quarts. What am I doing wrong?
