In reply to your other question, pull the blinker unit and look at the
posts. Any aftermarket blinker/flasher unit should work as long as the posts
are the same. They typically come in 2, 3, or 4 post types for a few bucks
each.

When I took my car out this summer after it's winter hiatus, the right
blinker
was constantly on.  Believing it might have been a bad switch, I removed the
steering wheel and turn switch assembly, nothing shorted.  The blinker kept
blinking even with everything disconnected. Disconnecting the blinker relay
stops everything.

Could it be the blinker relay? Something else?  I don't see it on the parts
interchange list on 311s, is it commonly available?
