Hoon,

This is a typical response of many early electrical oil pressure gauges.  My 
'66 1600/'69 U20 oil pressure dros to near zero at idle, and has for as long 
as I have had the motor in the car.  As soon as I "blip" the throttle, the 
pressure comes back.
