Hello,

Experiencing a vibration in the car's chassis in 5th gear only. As
soon as I
shift into 5th the vibration starts. The vibration is strongest at
or below
3,000 RPM and weakens as the RPM climbs to and over 3,500.
Engine is completely rebuilt (new everything including clutch) and all of the
trans seals and bearings were replaced. No syncro's or gears were replaced.
All
looked good and the 5th gear was replaced to the new version by the
previous
owner.

I ruled out the drive shaft balance because when down
shifting from 5th to 4th
at the same RPM and the vibration immediately goes
away.

Andrew
