One more issue on the 6-cylinder head. The exhaust valves that came with the head stamped 517528 (early Mk 2 GT6?) are a shape which is different from the ones in the head that came on my 1972 car (replacement head?) -- the valve stem is shaped like a champagne flute, thickening in the lower 2 inches nearing the head, rather than remaining at one diameter down to the head as the intake valves do. Does this sound familiar? Right? Scott Barr sbarr@mccarty-law.com (920) 766-4693 (920) 766-4756 (fax) |
