Transmitters are available for rent or purchase directly from SVRA. I will
contact SVRA tomorrow and get pricing and procedure. Usually one requests
these in advance of the event and the units are then available at either
registration or the Tech area. I will get confirmation of the plan.

Great thought on the list. In past events I have loaned everything except my
underware and wife to other racers to get them going.

Also a side note, Mid Ohio is noted to almost always provide some moisture,
a bit of rain gear may be a wise choice. Also, for some reason, they get
VERY cranky about parking and folks being where they shouldn't. They will
evict anyone from the paddock area tryung to set up a tent to sleep in or
sleeping in their car, trailer etc. Their twist is, if you're going to be
sleeping in it, it has to have plumbing. Folks sleeping inside their trailer
just need to be a little cautious about being obvious. Dogs are forbidden.
So just to cover the above statement, these are my personal comments and in
no way affiliated with SVRA or Mid Ohio or FOT.
There is a charge for the parking of motorhomes that is I believe $50.
(might be a little higher) Motorhomes are fine in the part of the paddock we
are going into. I can also arrange to have paddock maps available at
registration or better yet scan them and send them to everyone in FOT by
e-mail.
