I have had two new 'generic' head gaskets leak in last couple of years. In
both cases I had water leaking out around the head just moments after
initial start up. I have had excellent results with Payen brand gaskets.
Payen gaskets are of modern teflon coated construction (no sealant
required) and do not require re-torquing. I got them from APT
(http://www.APTfast.com). Their part number AG900 fits the late GT6 and
early TR6 block.
