Amici,
I thought about doing a blatant ad about my business by telling
you all...but, no, your're probably not interested in that; the cars
you're building are generally more interesting then the cars I'm
fixing.
The racing Italia that I'm still trying to build is moving v-e-r-y s-l-
o-w-l-y with the usual money/time excuse. We've built new floor/sill
assemblies that are lighter and stiffer than OE and the 'racing'
gearbox is together. The gearbox was built using the combined
knowledge of the FOT listers as, everytime a tech topic comes up
for discussion, I copy the replies, condense it and put it into two
binders about how people are currently preparing their 4 cyl
Triumphs. Egads! It's the beginnings of Kas's next book!
I'm looking to buy a car for a customer. She has her cherished
(and very rotten) '72 Spitfire and has agreed that another car would
be a better solution than fixing the old one. We are interested in a
Mark III, pretty decent, white would be nice.
