Esteemed list: Thought these two events would interest some of you in the
region. There's always room for qualified Triumphs at these events.
ps: Entry price is still very
affordable !!

Kevin:

You seem to be tapped into a couple of Vintage Race chat networks--could you
post the following??

June Is Vintage Big Bore Month in Colorado
Rocky Mountain Vintage Racing is hosting two great June events for Vintage Big
Bore cars:

June 7-8th: RMVR celebrates the Corvette's 50th Anniversary and RMVR's 20th
birthday at Pikes Peak International Raceway. PPIR is located in Fountain,
Colorado, about midway between Colorado Springs and Pueblo. The 1.6 mile road
course is clean and smooth, using portions of the one mile banked oval and an
infield road course section. The course is technical but a relatively quick
learn; creature comforts at PPIR are first class. Contact Ginger Hein,
303/421-4973.

June 21-22st: RMVR's Second Annual Trans Am Invitational will be held at
Pueblo Motorsports Park (PMI), Pueblo, Colorado. Last season's event was
fantastic, with a big turnout of TA cars and a great lineup of guest speakers,
and promises to be even better this year. PMI is a 2.2 mile road course, with
a 2200 ft straight, cool elevation changes and great corners. Pueblo is the
best kept secret in Western U.S. road racing, and you owe it to yourself to
check it out. Contact Keith Davidson, 303/384-8255 or kdavidson@secor.com
