Re:TR6 Racer's Passing

Many seasons ago; during an early trip of ours to Portland, a front, rear 
leaf spring bush on our TR3 failed.  After I exhausted many possible sources 
for 
replacement,
Ernie learned of my problem.  He was busy with problems of his own, but 
insisted
on driving me to his house, where we found a used spring with a usable bush, 
and
removed it.  He was that kind of fine person, and great Triumph enthusiast; 
little deterred, him, and I saw him meet many challenges.
