Long time TRIUMPH friend and officer of the VTR, Bill Lynn, contacted me the
other day to indicate he has a rare steel hard top for the TR2/3. It is in
original condition, but he also has 'new rubber' for both the rear window and
the 'waist seal' at the body. He is missing certain related hardware. Bill
sent me several pictures, and the top appears to be in very good condition. He
would like to sell it to someone who would appreciate it. He wants to avoid
the eBay hassle, if possible.
The piece is now located at his summer home in northern Wisconsin, but he
could have it brought to his home near Chicago. Bill Lynn, who has one of the
nicest TR2s, is now in a wheel chair, so 'crating and shipping' is an issue for
him.
Other than my long term friendship, I have no financial interest in this
matter, but I am convinced that any TRIUMPH aficionado looking for this rare
