Group, This is a total engine re-build with new bearings. When I tighten up the two bolts holding in the front camshaft bearing, it binds-up the camshaft. The shop manual calls for .003 to .007 end float on the camshaft. I find no way to adjust the float and I find no way to stop the binding, other than machining down the bearing depth. Been there before? What am I doing wrong? Richard Taylor |
