Hi,

This must be the season of the TR6 clutch failure... my race car clutch
gave up after only 5 years (of very hard abuse). But probably gave out
because I was stupid when I installed the clutch disk and didn't "prep"
the pressure plate and flywheel.

At any rate, I have a new clutch disk and PP installed and ready to.

The question is - the manufacturer (SPEC) indicates that you MUST bed the
clutch by driving in a "normal" fashion for the first 450 to 500 miles.
Seeing that my car is totally not-streetable, that leaves me in a
dilemma - do I just drive the thing and hope it lasts another 5 years or
should I make some sort of effort to bed the clutch.

What do you folks do?
