Here's a web site of PVC40 specs per ASTM D-1785,
Type 1 (Normal Impact), Grade 1 (High Chemical Resistance).

Note there is NO spec for air pressure.
Note also the water pressure spec is for 73.4 degrees F.
I will add too that my serach for info on the
pneumatic application using PVC 40 has not turned
up a single word yet that is either pro or con
regarding such use. I'll keep on looking.
