 Too true. Occam's razor is a handy tool for ruling out absurd notions, like
the reason I can't get my left carb to hold tune is because it's haunted.
The simpler explanation is that I'm too lazy to properly rebuild it. But's
that's about all it's good for (and all it's intended to do).

Which of course, as we all know, is frequently wrong.  Having run 2
seconds
faster this lap does not mean I can run another 2 seconds faster on the
next
lap.

But lacking any other knowledge, Occam's Razor says it will be right
more
often than wrong.
