The poor gentleman from under the "horses tail of Oklahoma" always
seemed to be carrying a drink and a grudge every time I saw him. Friday night
Joe and Jan, Bob and Barbara Kramer, Irv, and myself were relaxing in the hotel
lobby when this Okie approached asking if he could sit with us. We welcomed him
to sit, but when Irv made a wise crack this gentleman took offense and it
became obvious that he was enjoying the hotel bar more than the average
attendee. He felt no one had made him and his co-attendee feel welcome. It
seemed like every group he infiltrated soon broke and dispersed.
Saturday, at the concourse, the gentleman reappeared with his old
friend Bud Weiser. He wanted me to convince him why he should buy my services
instead of someone else. He only seemed to get more boisterous when I didn't
take his lead and break into a selling song and dance. As Joe stated, I see him
as an unlikely customer and a potential PIA if he were one. I'm sure there is a
shop closer to the tail that can address this mans needs. If not, there's
always the Betty Ford Clinic. Thanks - Ed

BTW, I really thought the Texans did a great job at VTR. Other than the
disgruntled
Okie that lives under the horses tail of OK, I found no one complaining.

I noticed our group broke up rapidly after his arrival....................

Oddly, he approached Ed Barnard and me the next day. He expressed interest in
doing some business with Ed....but we think he was beating the heat with
Bud(s) and we find him an unlikely candidate.

Outside of the fact that I did not spend time with some folks that I really
wanted to visit with, VTR was a very fine event.

Joe (A)
