In long days past we ran a cool can for the fuel on our GT-6,and saw a
power
increase. This was a one quart can with a coil of tubing inside then filled
with ice before the start of the event. Worked great. Probably still
available from hot rod stores. Cool everything on the inlet tract is good.

  Hello:

I recently had my TR4 in for a chassis dyno run to fine tune the carbs and
get
some baseline specs on the engine. After a run, one of the dyno folks
suggested that I try a heat shield between the exhaust manifold and the
carb
intake manifold to help keep the incoming fuel cooler. Seems like a good
suggestion, has anyone tried this? Notice any positive results?
