Hello racers,

This one is offered in England and is a very fast one. Maybe there is
interest:

 FULL RACE MODIFIED TR4 - WORLDS FASTEST MOST DEVELOPED TR4.
Highly developed competition car with many class wins and several overall wins
in the TR Register championship, and many lap records.
Also fastest laps in the Thoroughbred Race Series, holds Fastest TR lap record
EVER round UK's Fastest Track - Thruxton and still not equalled, and many
others. Currently in MGCC Thoroughbred Sports Car Class C and also Class D for
TR Register, but eligible for Euro TR Event / Classic race series.

High-lift Roller Rockers, 1.7 Ratio from Cambridge MS with high Aluminium

Duplex Vernier adjustable cam sprocket (Cambridge MS)

Racetorations Damper and Alloy hub

Aluminium sump - Fully flapper baffled, pancake filter for more efficient oil
pick up, by MASS.

***Aluminium Cylinder Head - This is an absolute work of ART rolleyes.gif done
by Bill Quine (he was the cylinder head specialist for Downton Engineering in
60's and 70.s when Downton were THE company in UK for all fast sports car
tuning Mini Miglia's, Jaguar, MG, Triumph etc(now retired!)). It's the only
Aluminium Cylinder head racing today that truly works, (many have tried - all
may us gave up). How it was done is confidential and will only be revealed to
serious potential buyers, this Cylinder Head has taken a long time, and Many
Thousands of Pounds to develop.
A full comprehensive data pack of detailed drawings, of the cylinder head and
the One Off Intake manifold (Torque Techniques UK) comes with the car.

It is having a FULL rebuild for new season / new buyer (this IS buy no mean
cheap!!!! - liners and or pistons, all dismantled and checked over and
reassembled)

ARP Cylinder head stud sets

Twin Weber 50DCOE's Custom manufactured chokes, accelerates smoothly from 3000
rpm on full throttle, drives in traffic fine now (but why would you!). Fuel
King Regulator / Filter. Custom made 5.5" long inlet manifold matched from
Weber 50 DCOE to head inlets 50 mm to 39.5 mm Swan neck shape. ITG Filter half
a DFV filter setup.

Custom designed Exhaust 4 into1 Equal length header by Torque Techniques UK
matched to cylinder head. Rest of system Full stainless Exhaust 2.25"
Cambridge large bore (just one large box), but comes with a very small
additional silence (tube in place) if especially strict noise limits.

Exhaust and Inlet Manifold have custom Lasered Flanges to increase the sealing
of Inlet and Exhaust to the Cylinder Head, and also for ease removing Carbs
separately to the Exhaust.

Aluminium Radiator and Pressurised system with Samco silicone tubing
throughout, very efficient system. Alloy custom expansion tank.

Alloy Water pump housing - with Racetorations impeller.

Luminition ignition, coil Plus Magnecor ignition lead set, and Iridium Spark
Plugs

Clutch & Transmission:

Clutch - Quartermaster Rally single plate billet clutch assembly.

Gearbox - Race Modified (Pete Cox re-valved for Instant changes) "J" Type
overdrive Instant Up and Down changes - (Absolutely Amazing piece of kit - a
lot better than a Dog Box and 2 - 3 more gears!)
Uprated gearbox shaft bearings
Close Ratio Gear set
Race spec Syncro rings

Diff - Salisbury LSD axle with 4.1:1 final Drive

Suspension / Steering:

Custom Front & Rear springs rates.
Koni Sport Adjustable front dampers (Racetorations).
Rear Dampers (Racetoration) specially valved lever arms (much stiffer than
std).
Custom Sized Front Anti-roll bar (Gartrac) and mounts.
Nylatron bushed front suspension.
Quick-rack.
Compomotive 6"x15 MO 6" wheels.
Yokohama A032x 205 60 15 tyres.


Brakes:

Cryptogenic discs in std size, no servo
Front: Std Front Twin pot callipers but with internal helper springs and hub
shimming for no brake "Lag" (a lot of work here and almost nothing out brakes
it - weird but true!). Hawk Blue pads. Racetorations Caliper cooling ducts.
Rear: Alfin Drums

Body / Chassis:

Strengthened, Light-weight Chassis, all geometry by Gartrac.
Triangulated Custom full roll-cage by Gartrac, part T45 (inc underdash hoop).
Steel Inner body tub.
Light-weight GRP Doors; Wings; Bonnet; Boot & Front and Rear valences.
Extensive lightening without removing any strength.
Aluminium Foam-filled 8 Gallon Fuel Cell
Corbeau Pro-Race Seat
Willans Four-point Harness
Plumbed-in AFFF 2.5Kg Fire Extinguisher System
