Not to me ... can someone explain what I'm obviously not seeing : how the
load on the front washer can be more than the load on the rear washer ?  Cap
misaligned means not enough clearance, that's obvious.  But the lower rear
washer would be just as tight as the upper front washer, plus it would carry
the load from the clutch.
