No, I'm really not confusing caster and camber. Most suspension  
parameters have more than one effect. Caster moves the contact patch  
behind the steering axis of rotation, and so it exerts a counter force  
to steering input that tends to drag the wheel straight. But  caster  
also moves the contact patch to the side of the axis of tire rotation  
during steering input, imparting some camber effect. Likewise Camber  
moves the contact patch to one side or the other of the tire, but  
extreme positive camber acts like "negative" caster, pulling the wheel  
to the inside of a turn.
