A.R.E. produced these scroll centering tools in conjunction with Chris' VITON
SEAL CONVERSION project.
There are some folks interested in the centering tool by itself......SO,
$27.00 PayPal to n197tr4@cs.com will get you a centering tool shipped
to your tool box.
We researched the correct dimensions and these tools reflect that research. We
might surmise that the large scroll seal dimension is in error in the Factory
Manual as it appears to be too large for the split scroll seal by several
thousandths.
I contacted Moss as they offer a centering tool and we are discussing the
apparent discrepancy. We expect Moss to adopt our dimensions and Kas has
already used those dimensions in his new book.
So if you want/need what we think is a proper scroll seal centering tool at a
low cost, please go to my PayPal account. This assembly tool will work on the
stock seal or the conversion kit.
If you want our scroll seal conversion kit, with Chris' Viton Seal, the seals
will be in transit shortly. I have exchange units on the shelf of the
modified OEM scroll seals. You might consider rounding up your exchange scroll
seal.
