I have been using silicone brake fluid for ever it seems, in the race car and my street car. !0+ years on the same master cyl, calipers and rear wheel cyls. This year I rebuilt my master cyl., front calipers and new rear wheel cyl. Please don't ask me why! Poor brakes by the end of one race. So I ordered a new master cyl.,which I recieved yesterday. Open the box and included is a note, " use of silicone fluid voids warranty". OK the question, are the newer seals not compatable with silicone? _______________________________________________ fot@autox.team.net http://www.fot-racing.com Donate: http://www.team.net/donate.html Archive: http://www.team.net/archive Forums: http://www.team.net/forums Unsubscribe: http://autox.team.net/mailman/options/fot/mharc@autox.team.net |
