They do have a few things wrong.  The cars were all fitted with torque rods
for the race and the fuel tanks were 31.7 gallon no 26. I think the fellow
was well prepared to not like the car. Test in lap time on a race track and
there would be no comparison at all with the stocker. By the way the rear
springs were stock and the front just the regular competition springs from
the factory, not special beefy parts to cope with the very rough track at
Sebring.. Comparing with a Lotus 19 seems a little silly.

 The regulations were pretty specific about what could be altered in the
interior of the car (nothing to speak of) as we had to make up floor mats
our of roofing paper to satisfy the tech personal.   Oh well, they won
anyway and beat a whole lot of cars that could not cut the hard rough drive
on 12 hours at Sebring..
