Hi Brian, I found a brass tee fitting in my assortment of stuff, put the =
Pegesus 1/2 NPT extender nut, pn 1074-1/2NTP into one side of the tee, =
and installed the temp bulb into it. The bulb should be the 5/8-18 =
threads.
The other two sides of the tee were installed with 1/2NPT=20
by -10 fittings that I hooked up to the -10 cooler lines. The oil goes =
straight through the tee and the temp bulb just sits in the flow. I =
don't think it blocks much flow.
The tee is about the same as the 80 dollar unit but can be had from =
McMaster-Carr for about 7 bucks. PN 50785K74, M/C's number is 330 =
995-5500. I made a couple straps to secure the tee.
Pretty easy to do actually.
Cheers, Bill
PS: thawed out yet?!

  OK Sixer Friends

I want to install an oil temp gauge in the GT6. I bought an analog =
AccuTech Sportsman gauge with a pretty big install requirement, I'm =
guessing 5/8 - 18 (can't find the exact size in the specs) and the probe =
extends an inch past the end of the fitting.

I have page 47 of the Pegasus catalog earmarked for a Temp Gauge to AN =
adapter that is supposed to work with a T fitting, but seems it me the =
temp probe will block substantial flow or not get enough flow past the =
probe for a good reading. On the same page just above is a bloody $88 in =
line adapter, one of my last choices.

Anywise - besides welding a bung on the pan or above last choice, I'm =
looking for other installation or adapter suggestions.=20

  Thanks=20
  B
