Many vintage organizations have followed SCCA and are allowing 2005 Snell
date helmets through 2016 due to the late date of acceptance and low
production of 2016 certified helmets:
"SCCA will continue to accept SA2005 helmets through the 2016 racing season.
As of January 1 2017, SCCA will require SA2010 or newer helmets."
Please check with CSRG on this. Another expense I'm hoping to avoid in this
expedition!
