Jeff;
I bought a stock Laycock TR6 pressure plate from Rimmer Bros or Miss (can=E2=
=80=99t recall which) and then sent it to California Clutch for uprating. I b=
elieve they installed a stiffer diaphragm. So far, so good.
If you have a flat faced throwout bearing, you need a pressure plate with cu=
rved diaphragm fingers. If using a stock TR6 throwout bearing with a curved f=
ace, you need a diaphragm with flat fingers. Flat on flat will work but may n=
ot be as smooth.
