That is good to know, thanks John.

=EF=BB=BF thanks, Dave. =C2=A0Well, I have a welded diff - it requires some=

Hi Scott,
=C2=A0

I=E2=80=99ve run both a welded diff in the #114 (Dads car) and a Quaiffe in=
the #80. =C2=A0On the same track, I find high speed sweeper corner speed i=
s much better with the Quaiffe as the welded diff requires modulating the t=
hrottle to control the forced oversteer, where the quaife car is flat out=
=2E =C2=A0Last turn at Thompson, the #80 was 11mph faster exiting the corne=
r with the same driver. =C2=A0 However, on the hairpin, the welded diff was=
a much better performer where the quaife required a VERY smooth line and w=
as modulating wheel spin where the welded diff just rotated the car and sho=
t out of a turn. =C2=A0 I=E2=80=99ve developed a simple questionnaire to he=
lp. =C2=A0Lap times were the same on both cars.

=C2=A0

1. =C2=A0Do you drive like a madman? =C2=A0If yes, run the welded diff

2. Are you a smooth driver? =C2=A0If yes, the quaife rewards smoothness. =

LOL

=C2=A0

I have not driven a Gripper diff

I hope that helps!

Scott,

Just my two cents worth (no cash value), but we have a Detroit locker in th=

at RA, and frankly don't notice any difference except in the pits or pushin=

open diff, as it lifts the inside rear and loses drive.=C2=A0
