re the 4 million years estimate, Greg doesn't give the spamsters enough
credit (or blame!). They will take it as a personal challenge to 

a) defeat whatever anti-Spam tricks Google comes up with 

and

b) fill up the 100 gigs in about three days.

With an average of 1200 email per month @ 2k per email from the list, it
would be 4 million years before your oldest email would be erased.
That's just not good enough for me.
