Steve,
I used some squirt-on adhesive and aluminum tape to hold on my
insulation. I must admit that I've not had occasion to drive in rain
but gravity has not caused it to come undone in the 3 yrs since I stuck
him up there.

Healeyophiles,
I just received the Moss-supplied "underhood insulation kit" for my
BJ8.
The term "kit" implies to me, anyway, that instructions would be
provided.
However, this is not the case - just the insulation material.
Therefore, do
any of you know how the insulation is to be affixed to the hood? I
would
guess that a good quality adhesive in caulk-gun tube would be the
ticket -
but I would like to save effort and frustration in doing this the best
way
the first time. This is a novel approach for me as I usually just jump
in
and 'do it'...... So, please advise me the proper procedure and
materials I
should use to install this minor upgrade item. Also, did the original
BJ8s
have insulation material under the hood? I have had my car thirty+
years
and have been wondering occassionally about it.

Thanks in advance for your assistance!

Steve Rizzo
