Thanks to all. The replies answered questions and opened up new ones. I am
not a masochist (in the true sense) or am I trying to restore a concourse,
but I want to do the best job I can do (It may turn out to be concourse).
My goal is to keep my green-bomb as close to original as I can possibly get,
and that includes the fasteners. I did notice that there were nuts and
bolts available in the Moss Catalog for certain items and there probably are
in other catalogs (What do the professional restorers do?). I will separate
mine from the cans and bottles, and then determine if they are worth
plating. Which brings up another question:
Does anyone in San Bernardino area know of a good Plating and Chroming Shop?
