i apologize profusely, but apparently i had a sensory overload at the last car
club meeting and heard only what i wanted to hear. the place in portland
actually only quoted a price of $75, but the final price was $90 for the
speedo, which worked but wobbled, and 160 for the tach, which quit many years
ago. again, sorry for false info, but address is Speedometer Service and
Instrument, 530 NW 11th St., Portland,OR 97209, phone 503-227-5567. i also
contacted D&M Restorations, 46 Grand Ave., Greenville, S.C. 29607, and they
said they would repair speedos for $80-140. did not ask about other
