apparently the letter i posted never made it to the list. i need help trying
to find out why and fix a transmission problem on my bj8. the detent that
keeps the tranny from going into reverse when downshifting to second seems to
stick and lets the shifter go clear over to the reverse position, which causes
much clashing of gears when it happens. this happened a few years ago and i
removed the top but could not see how to remove the detent so i just tapped it
a few times and it has worked pretty good up to now. any ideas? appreciation
in advance. healeymanjim
