HS4 Carb Spring (was Eurieka)

....Not surprising that my tricarb was running like &^@$%# .

On the front carb, the bolt that holds the jet pick-up lever to the carb had
come loose and allowed the lever return spring to slip off the posts on the
side of the carb, leaving the front jet in the full down position all the
time.

As I remember, it was a bear getting that spring in place when I reassembled
the carbs on my work bench....   Is there any point in trying to position the
spring in the car, or should I just go ahead and pull the carb out and work it
on the bench???
Any tricks?
