While suffering today from the effects of +60 deg.F weather and sunshine,
I attempted to weed out a few things lurking in the corners, and perhaps no
longer needed.
What I did find is a copy of the CPI (Cars of Particular Interest)
handbook dated 'July-August-September 1993'. The editorial offices were (are)
in Laurel, MD but it appears to lean more towards European pricing as the
introduction was written by Jim Hostler, Brentford Dock, England and discusses
"UK market conditions", and "a sale by Robert Brooks auction house".
Apologies may be in order to those more 'in tune' than I; I am not
familiar with this publication.
Anyway, the Austin-Healey prices, for late '93, were as follows;

Low is an intact and functioning automobile that can be restored at a
reasonable cost.
AVG is a clean, front-line ready automobile
High is a car that requires nothing; a show car but not a 100 point car.
Just though this was interesting, when balanced against the prices
generally seen in today's market.
